It begins again…Mid-October

With your order you’ll get at least one pack of cards, one button, and one sticker for FREE!
Only 1500 pairs of these awesome Nike Mags, known from Back To The Future II, will be auctioned for charity. All net proceeds from the auction sales will go directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, which is for an absolute great cause.
And also, greatest commercial ever? I do think so! It has Dr. Emmett Brown & the DeLorean in there, for crying out loud!

Did this one for fun, dunno who does merch for FX after various emails to get to the bottom of this mystery…

Started this design back in 2008 and recently fixed it up. I re-drew a lot of it and completely re-colored it. Avalable now as Prints, iphone/ipod and Laptop Skins!

I dug my old comics out of the basement a while back. I have at least 200 of em. Most of em were Marvel comics from the early 90’s. Yep your lookin a big ol Marvel fanboy. I got a few DC books in there, almost all of em Batman. My favorite book has to be X-Men way back when the legand Jim Lee was drawing them. I remember copying almost every cool panel I could find. After Jim left X-men Andy Kubert took over. I was a big fan of his as well. His brother Adam was doing wolverine around the same time. It wasn’t til later that I realized their dad Joe Kubert was a famous comic artist in his own right. Joe even has a school for comic artists. How awesome must that have been to be a student at a school for gifted comic artists! I was also way into Todd Mcfarlane ever since he was doing Spider-Man way back in the 90’s…but we can talk about my obsession with Mcfarlane some other time! haha

I also found this book “Marvel: Five Fabulous Decades of the World’s Greatest Comics”. All about the history of Marvel comics. Somebody gave it to me when I was a kid. Really cool book. I started flipin through it and before I knew it I had read the entire book. I can’t believe I never even bother to read it before. It covers Marvel history from the beginning up to 1990 (when it was published). There was so much I never knew about the history of my favorite comic group. Marvel has been around since World War II with titles like “Captain America” and “The Human Torch”. But what you may not know is that it never went by the name “Marvel Comics” until the 60’s. Yea before that it never really had a name. It wasn’t til they relaunched with titles like “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “The Fantastic Four” that the name Marvel Comics appears on the covers of these books.
